CONVERTIBLE ROOF DEEP CLEANING & PROTECTION

Over time, the fabric of your soft-top roof can become weathered due to the elements. Replacing a convertible roof can stand you anywhere between £400 - £4500. So it is vital to clean and protect your fabric correctly to extend the life of your fabric roof.

 

At Signature Group, we have expert detailers that hold specialist knowledge in the field of correctly maintaining and restoring convertible fabric roofs on a variety of vehicles, be it old or new. We recommend that a convertible roof should be cleaned and protected every six months to ensure that your roof is protected  against UV degradation, typical road grime and more improtantly water. Moisture build up within the pores of your roof can lead to the growth of mould and fungi.

WHAT IS INCLUDED?

  • Your roof is throughly rinsed to remove any loose debris and dirt from the surface of your convertible roof

  • Then a correctly diluted Signature Citrus Pre-Wash solution is applied to the convertible roof.

  • Anti fungacidal treatment is applied to the roof to prevent any further growth of fungi.

  • A variety of stiff brushes are used to thoroughly lift contaminents from the pores of the convertible roofand into the citrus solution

  • The soft top roof is then thoroughly rinsed to remove all the contaminents.

  • The soft top roof is completed dried using compressed air and various air heaters

  • Then two layers of soft top protectant is applied to the cleaned roof to create a water repellent barrier

 

Convertible Roof Re-Colouring:

  • Minimum of two coats of coloured dye is applied to your convertible roof allowing a minimum of 3 hours drying time between each stage.
